Beginning of November Update

Starting up a collaborative project takes many small tasks. We wanted to let the community know a few of our current goals and challenges…

First update: The corporate paperwork and by-laws are moving forward. Currently our original name had been changed, as the state of Hawaii thought it was a bit close to others doing business in the state. A name change later, and we are waiting for the paperwork to be accepted by the state. As this moves forward, we will be submitting our by-laws and making things completely transparent for all those involved in our corporate structure.

Second update: Social media accounts are LIVE! we know have X, IG, & Facebook up and running to help with community engagement. Please feel free to give a follow, like, and share! All links can be found on the footer of any page on this site. Check it out, for something small and new, browsing though our social media means a lot to us, Mahalo!

Third update: GoFundMe is LIVE!!! We have opened up a way, for people who believe in our grassroots project, to contribute financially to the cause as we start. It’s not simple bringing together a team of people who can bring more organic agriculture to Hawaii. Every step to the process has cost. Even as I sit and write this article for you, I am donating my personal funds and time to build our private community. If you would like to be an early contributor, in any way, we’d love to bring you on board. For those who want to add fuel to the fire please consider sharing and/or donating to our GoFundMe! click the links to visit our fundraiser. All donations will be used in launching our project, OR be given back to the donors. We will keep donations 100% transparent, stay tuned into our blog updates to see where your contributions go help us grow! Mahalo.

Fourth update: Funding and movement to open up farm spaces. Currently we are checking off the boxes to qualify for Grants and Farm loans. Another avenue is private investors, if you or someone you know are an accredited investor, please feel free to reach out and set up a private meeting to discuss opportunities in owning farm land in Hawaii. Our Contact Us form is a great way to set this up, email info@kamaainatoken.com, or call/txt (808)464-7759.

Fifth and final update: The team is growing! We are growing the business by filling roles and delegating responsibilities. Once a large farm is secured, the challenge truly begins. We have been hard at work to bring together a qualified team to make sure our farm lands are cared for and productive DAY ONE! We have our lead organic farm operations consultant and maintenance/laborer positions filled. It’s a great honor to say, its no one man band, rather a team of community members who believe in fostering our relationships with the earth! This isn’t just good news for the operations team; it also means that potential passive investors can put a face to the daily operations and work that will be getting done! Most importantly I want to thank those joining our team, it’s their support and involvement that gives life to our group, and ultimately will be the backbone of our small private group.
